Hydrofracturing
Water well hydrofracturing is a rehabilitation process used to increase the yield of low-producing bedrock wells. By injecting high-pressure water (often 500–3,500 psi) into the wellbore using inflatable packers, the technique cleans out existing fractures, extends them, and connects them to new water-bearing zones.
